When we began our foster parenting journey, we expected to help kids not add to our family.
As you know, we obviously had no idea what we were doing since we quickly added 4 more kiddos to our family!!
But beyond the kids, we added an entire family as friends.. Friends that are like family to us now.
The boys' CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and her family (Cowie & Pop-pop) have been part of our family for 5 years now.
Today was Cowie's first granddaughter's 1st bday party. Love that little girl. Some parties you go to and you sit on the outskirts not really fitting in and slightly uncomfortable.. Been there?? Not with this family. They Always make you feel comfortable and part of the family. Aunts/ uncles/ grandparents.. EVERYONE accepts you.
